Indirect Competitors (Tools)

  • Search Google for "AI automation agency Dallas" / "Fort Worth"
  • Check Upwork for competing freelancers' profiles and recent jobs

  • Marketing strategies (content, ads, positioning)
  • Client reviews / testimonials
  • Team size changes

3. Intelligence Output

Save to knowledge/resources/competitor-intel.md:

  • Competitor name, URL, positioning
  • Date last scanned
  • Notable changes since last scan
  • Threat level (low/medium/high)
  • Opportunities identified (gaps we can exploit)

  • Report significant findings to Alfred via Telegram
  • Include in weekly review if any high-threat changes detected
  • Recommend strategic responses if needed

Anti-Patterns

  • Do NOT obsess over competitors — build the tallest building (Hormozi)
  • Do NOT copy competitor strategies — differentiate on proof and outcomes
  • Do NOT contact competitors or their clients
